This flower is one of my favorites to watercolor. The wild roses are blooming on the mountain side and climbing fences right now. They freely share their beauty with us, so I can’t resist putting them on paper.
Wild Roses are a lovely pink with a yellow under color in the center, which I chose to paint. But occasionally they will be all pink which are beautiful as well. They love to climb being a vine, but if nothing is near, they will vine on the ground.
